iCarly is a rockin' new show that is hilarious and awesome. Ok, so it's not that new, it started in 2007, but a lot of people are still discovering it. iCarly is about three 8th grade kids: Carly, Sam (Samantha), and Freddie. When they have to watch and video tape the school's talent show auditions, Carly and Sam start joking around. Freddie video tapes them, meaning to just cut them out before posting the video online for their teacher to see. But instead, he posts the girls' funny spurts for the whole world to see. Though extremely mad at Freddie, the girls notice the wonderful comments they get. Everyone says they want more-so they give them more. Carly, Sam and Freddie start their own web show: iCarly. That's the origin of the show, but there is much more to it.

First of all, there is Carly's family. her dad's in the Navy, and her only guardian is her older brother, Spencer, who dropped out of law school (after 3 days) to become an artist. Even though he's 26, he acts just like a little kid. he is a fantastic character that everyone will adore. Here are two great things about iCarly: 1. People of lots of different ages like it. There are kids who are 6 years old and kids who are 16 years old, all of whom think iCarly is great. 2. It is interactive. On iCarly.com, you can watch other videos and send in pictures and video clips. Anyway, iCarly is an amazing show that everyone should try watching.
